Small, familiar, cozy location. Small but nice menu .... I felt very comfortable and had a nice evening ....... and ...... I'll definitely be back. Tried with the burger ..... they looked good at the next table 😉. Hang in there and stay healthy

A place that reminds me of the fancy, sustainable restaurants in Berlin. We loved this place <3 Something very unique in Ilmenau! The menu is seasonal, healthy and offers things I don't cook at home. Vegan, vegetarian and gluten free dishes were offered on the menu as we went there yesterday (the menu does change seasonably, check online). Everything is self made from scratch... even the chocolate in the dessert! Ingredients are strictly organic (Demeter). When offering dishes that include meat they pay attention to where it comes from and that the animals where treated good. Questioning the concept the waiter simply said "this is how we would cook at home for ourselves". This is not a place that is attending the "race to the bottom" trying to make as much profit by buying as cheap as possible. They are mindful about what they serve (healthy & diverse), which ingredients they choose (seasonable & sustainable). They are family owned (wife and mother are cooking, husband is serving). To top it off, I think the prices are fair/reasonable considering the hustle they make to serve you the most mindful food in Ilmenau. Please keep doing what you do. Please keep educating your customers about how your dishes are made with great effort and handcraft.

Wonderful place with very tasty food. Totally nicely furnished restaurant with attention to detail. Incredibly delicious food. Very warm hosts. The best thing for us is that all dishes are gluten-free, even the burger buns are gluten-free. My husband felt in 7th heaven, because he could eat without worry, because here you know what you are doing and what you are talking about. There is even homemade gluten-free bread. There is also gluten-free beer. What more do you want, he still has a grin on his face. An unbelievably beautiful end to our honeymoon. #glutenfrei #glutenfree #wunderbar

Very nicely presented food, which tastes convincing. The food is inexpensive and the service very friendly. You will receive a warm welcome and the restaurant is very modern and nicely decorated. You also have the opportunity to sit outside and the atmosphere is very cozy everywhere. I ordered the daily special, but the menu also has many attractive dishes.

Great Störtebeker lager, great burger in a crispy roll, fresh fries and amazing homemade (?) Mayo! Everything is freshly made - and you can taste it! Very friendly owners and a cozy atmosphere inside and outside!

Very friendly and courteous hosts with great, fresh creations, many of them organic. The burgers are great and the daily specials were also very tasty. I couldn't take a picture of the dessert, it was too tasty and eaten too quickly. It was a nice evening, thank you.

Friendly team with a great gastronomy concept. After a warm welcome (which you cannot expect everywhere with a large dog you brought with you), we were given a place in the cozy courtyard and immediately asked for water for our dog. For us we had a cheeseburger and a "pulled jackfruit burger" for dinner - both in homemade brioche rolls. There were also homemade fries with honey wasabi majo. Both dishes were extremely tasty, but the jackfruit burger was really an unusual but super good dining experience. The homemade cupcakes for dessert were also great. We are glad to have discovered this "insider tip" in Ilmenau through the Google Maps reviews and will definitely come back. The concept with sustainable products and above all a lot of homemade is great, the friendly owners round off the successful visit. Keep it up!

Also for a private party a great ambience with super loving and sympathetic innkeepers. The food and drink was very tasty and of the highest quality. Any time.

Very good food. Much is homemade and the vegetarian burger tastes better than the original with meat. Staff also friendly. Only not very cheap, but better than somewhere else where the food is often just thawed.

It's been a few days now ... Friday evening, short call and call back, a table for two was already ordered. After our arrival and the extremely friendly welcome, we were allowed to take a seat at the regulars' table. A very nice ambience, an excellently prepared and arranged meal over starter, main (the ossobuco was really delicious ...) and dessert as well as very nice conversations with the host led to a nice, entertaining evening. Class! Thanks to the "small" team of the bell. We will definitely be back. Greetings from Leipzig.

Highly recommended! Sustainability concept is absolutely coherent! Excellent food and drink, you can feel the quality with every "bite" and also with the drinks :). Stylish furnishings and a nice "garden ambience" in the back of the restaurant. The boss is very competent, courteous and attentive. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome :). My family will definitely come back here more often ... 😊

We were there on 29.05.2020 for dinner with 7 people. Although it was already very full, we were still allowed to stay. We were very satisfied ... friendly service, delicious and good food and pleasant surroundings. Thank you so much!

There were two of us in the bell today. The ambience is really very pleasant and the service and the chefs are very friendly and courteous. The food was delicious and, like the rest of the menu, very creative and imaginative. One of the best places to eat in Ilmenau.

Very, very tasty, sustainable, seasonal and regional food with an appealing small menu. The ambience is very nice, bright, cozy and at the same time modern. The owners are very friendly and create an atmosphere in which you feel comfortable. We came for the first time a few weeks ago and have been coming back ever since. Keep it up!
